Fatal Crash: Medical Transport Plane Accident on Navajo Nation Land Claims Four Lives

A Beechcraft 300 medical transport plane crashed on Navajo Nation land in Arizona Tuesday, resulting in the fatalities of four individuals, as confirmed by tribal police via a Facebook statement. The incident occurred approximately 12:40 p.m. near Chinle, Arizona.

The aircraft was reportedly en route to collect a patient from a nearby hospital when the crash took place. Navajo Police expressed their sympathies, stating, “We extend our deepest condolences to their family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are currently en route to the scene, with anticipated arrivals scheduled for tonight. Upon arrival, investigators will begin documenting the crash site, examining the aircraft, and subsequently recovering it to a secure facility for further analysis.
