Breaking: Active Shooter Reported at Fort Stewart, Georgia – Lockdown Enforced

A lockdown is in effect at Fort Stewart, Georgia, following an active shooter incident, according to official reports. Lt. Col. Angel Tomko, the Fort Stewart Police Department spokesperson, confirmed the situation but offered no additional details.

The verified Facebook page for Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield reported casualties and described the event as ongoing. The installation was secured at 11:04 a.m., with law enforcement on the scene.
