Brooke Hogan Oleksy Remembers Father Hulk Hogan Privately at the Beach – Reveals Unbroken Bond Despite Years of Estrangement
In an emotionally poignant tribute, Brooke Hogan Oleksy, daughter of the late wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, shared her heartfelt remembrance on Instagram last Tuesday. In a touching post, she detailed her decision to honor her father in a manner that he himself had preferred – privately and authentically.
Hulk Hogan, who passed away at the age of 71 last month, expressed his disdain for funerals, choosing instead to be remembered through various celebrations and events organized in his honor. However, as his daughter, Brooke felt compelled to pay tribute to him in a way that resonated deeply with her own emotions.
Her chosen method was a simple one, aligning perfectly with her soul’s peace. “We took our babies to the beach, and put them in the same salty waters you loved,” she wrote in the Instagram post. The post featured photographs of Brooke, her husband Steven Oleksy, and their infant twins enjoying a sun-kissed day at the beach, the only thing missing being Hulk Hogan’s iconic presence in his favorite pop-up lawn chair.
Brooke Hogan first gained public attention alongside her father, brother Nick, and mother Linda on the VH1 reality series “Hogan Knows Best,” which aired from 2005 to 2007. Since then, she has taken a step back from the limelight, privately marrying Steven Oleksy, a former professional hockey player, in 2022. The couple welcomed fraternal twins, Oliver and Molly, in January 2025.
Over the years, Brooke has distanced herself from her parents, with her mother Linda posting a deleted video in March 2025 stating that her daughter no longer communicates with either her or Hulk Hogan. In response to this, Brooke clarified in a social media statement that her estrangement is not a result of her relationship with her father, but rather the way each individual has interacted with her throughout her life.
Following her father’s passing, Brooke revealed that despite any controversies or public misconceptions, their bond “has never broken, not even in his final moments.” Her touching tribute serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring connection between father and daughter.
