In Moscow, a tragic incident occurred on Sunday at the Central Children’s Store, widely recognized as “Detsky Mir,” situated on Lubyanka square close to the FSB headquarters. A gas cylinder explosion resulted in fatalities and injuries, according to initial reports by local news agencies.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed one death and several injuries due to the incident. The affected building, housing restaurants, shops, a cinema, and the toy store, has since been evacuated as per updates from Russian media outlets.
